CHANDLER ROSENTHAL
Chandler Rosenthal is a NY-based SAT/ACT tutor with over a decade of tutoring experience. She believes that the most effective and rewarding way to prepare for these tests is to get to know oneself, and she loves to help her students become curious about their own brains.

Chandler sees the SAT/ACT not just as a rite of passage, but as an act of exploration: What areas of content feel scary or shaky? How do I talk to myself during moments of frustration and anxiety? What am I curious about, and how can I let myself be guided by this curiosity? Sessions with Chandler are exploratory, collaborative, and fun, structured so that students can solidify their knowledge across math, reading, and grammar.

The goal for Chandler is for these skills to stay with her students and to inform the rest of their academic and intellectual lives, allowing them to enter college and early adulthood with a sense of confidence and a determination to remain lifelong learners.
Chandler went to Yale University, beginning her college career as a pre-med biology major and coming out on the other side as an actor with an English degree! When she’s not tutoring, she fills her time writing and making films, supporting pregnant people as a birth doula, and drinking iced coffee, even when it’s cold outside.
