RORY HYMAN
Rory works with students on college applications, standardized test preparation, and interview coaching, while also supporting those interested in business and finance through financial modeling and investment banking interview preparation.
He helps students translate their experiences into clear, cohesive, and compelling narratives, with a particular focus on managing the volume and complexity of supplemental essays while maintaining strong, consistent messaging across each application.
Rory grew up in Tokyo and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Economics, where he was captain of the rugby team. He spent over five years in investment banking, most recently as a Vice President, and will be starting his MBA at MIT in August 2026 to pursue a career in sports investing. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball and pickleball with friends.
